Entry into force notes

This Law enters into force eight days after its adoption.

Abstract

This Law regulates the health care of plants on the territory of the Republic of Montenegro, plant products and objects under control or specific regime, biological control of plant protection obligations and also establishes all necessary measures and standards aimed to prevent the introduction and spread of pests and diseases including their monitoring and control, plant care products and substances under surveillance, mandatory data collection and registration, financial measures and compensation for performing the duties in the field of plant health protection, and further defines the official obligations of the state administration responsible for the plant health protection duties and affairs.
