Entry into force notes
This text entered into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette (published on 10 September 2019). The provisions of article 6 (paragraph 4) shall apply from the date of accession of Montenegro into the European Union.
Abstract

This Regulation, as in accordance with the provisions of the Montenegrin Law on plant health protection, prescribes the necessary phytosanitary measures aimed at preventing the introduction and/or spread of the harmful organism Spodoptera frugiperda (Smith). In this text the provisions of the Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/638 of 23 April 2018 establishing emergency measures to prevent the introduction into and the spread within the Union of the harmful organism Spodoptera frugiperda (Smith) are also transposed.
