Abstract

This Order, based on the provisions of the Montenegrin Law on plant health protection, determines urgent phytosanitary measures aimed to prevent the spread and to control the grape Flavescence dorée, caused by the harmful organism phytoplasma "Candidatus Phytoplasma vitis", transmitted by the cicada vector-American cricket (Scaphoideus titanus). If the presence of such harmful organism on grape is actually determined, a marked area shall be established. To prevent the spread of the pest in the safety area as well as outside marked area, plant keepers are required to implement specific preventive measures as listed in this text.
