Entry into force notes

This Royal Ordinance shall come into force on the day following the date of its publication in the Government Gazette.

Abstract

This Royal Ordinance aims to reorganize fisheries in Thailand and in waters at large with a view to preventing IUU fishing in order to preserve aquatic animal resources as a sustainable source of food for humanity and preserve the environment, as well as to protect the welfare of seamen and prevent all forms of forced labour in the fisheries sector.
