This Act entered into force on 22 June 2001.

Abstract

This Act, which is composed of 98 articles, regulates the health care of plants, targets and obligations relating to the occurrence, prevention, spread and control of harmful organisms on plants, plant products and other objects. This Act also lays down provisions governing biological control, exchange of data and information system, public service of plant health, and identifies the authorities responsible for the implementation of this Act and for the inspection and supervision.
