Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of 19 articles, lays down in addition to the requirements contained in the Regulation on measures and procedures to prevent the introduction and spread of pests of plants, plant products and other objects, additional requirements for the introduction from third countries and for the movement of seed and other potatoes. This Regulation also applies to the phytosanitary control of consignments of potatoes from the affected countries of the European Union and from third countries which are exempted from the ban on the introduction of potatoes. Harmful organisms which are especially dangerous to potatoes are specified in art. 2. Details on testing potatoes are specified in art. 8, 9, 10 and 11, and details on labeling in art. 15.
