The Regulation came into force on 20 August 2000.
Résumé

Without prejudice to the general rules on foodstuffs, oenological practices and processes are governed by the Community rules laid down in Chapter I of Title V of Regulation (EC) No. 1493/1999 and the Annexes thereto. In addition, the present Regulation sets out the Community code of oenological practices and processes. The latter contains detailed rules for implementing Regulation (EC) No. 1493/1999, particularly those provisions relating to products intended for use in winemaking (Title I) and
