Abstract This Act lays down provisions governing production and marketing of grapes, must, wine and other products, including geographical origin of wine products, labeling of wine products, placing of wine products on the market and the appointment of accredited organizations that provide analytical, technical and administrative tasks. These provisions also apply to non-alcoholic wine. This Act is composed of 66 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Geographical origin (Sec. 2); Production of grapes, must, wine and other products (Sec. 3); Assessment and marking (Sec. 4); Marketing (Sec. 5); Analytical, technical and administrative tasks relating to viticulture (Sec. 6); Supervision (Sec. 7); Penalty provisions (Sec. 8); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 9).
