Abstract

The present Directive lays down standards applicable to certain sugars intended for human consumption. Part A of the Annex attached defines the products covered by these provisions, namely: semi-white sugar; sugar or white sugar; extra-white sugar; sugar solution; invert sugar solution; invert sugar syrup; glucose syrup; dried glucose syrup; dextrose or dextrose monohydrate; dextrose or dextrose anhydrous; fructose.
