Sugar products shall comply with requirements of European Communities (Labelling, Presentation and Advertising of Foodstuffs) Regulations 2002 (S.I. No. 483 of 2002). A person shall not place a sugar product on the market unless the product is labelled in accordance with the Regulations of 2002 and this Regulation or, in case of conflict, this Regulation.
