Abstract This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, which is composed of six articles and three Annexes, regulates names of certain sugars intended for human consumption and methods of testing these types of sugar: semi-white sugar, sugar or white sugar, extra white sugar, liquid sugar, liquid invert sugar, invert sugar syrup, glucose syrup, dried glucose syrup, dextrose or dextrose monohydrate, dextrose anhydrous or dextrose, fructose. The present Decree does not apply to the powdered sugar or kandis. The names of certain sugars and requirements for their quality are specified in Annex 1.
