Abstract The present Ordinance introduces the Council Directive 2001/111/EC relating to certain sugars intended for human consumption into German national legislation. The said Ordinance lays out particular standards applicable to certain sugars destined for human consumption. Packaging and labelling requirements are set out in Article 2.
