The present Law shall enter into force on the date of its notification in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The provisions of this Law do not affect the provisions of any other legislative text in force in the veterinary or the foodstuffs sector and aim at the observation of certain hygiene rules for the appropriateness of products and for the protection of health of persons and animals. The present Law applies for certain types and certain cuts of fresh or frozen poultry meat of the following species: chickens and hens (Gallus domesticus), ducks, geese, turkeys and guinea fowls (“faraones”).
