Abstract

These Regulations, made under the Meat Control Act, provide for ante-mortem and post-mortem inspection of poultry intended for human consumption. They also lay down, in the Schedule, standards for hygienic practices for the slaughtering, processing and storage of poultry and the packing of finished product and rules regarding the inspection of poultry. These standards and rules shall apply to all poultry slaughterhouses.
