The present Law enters into force on 1 January 2009.
Abstract

The present Law regulates: a) the implementation of the confederate legislation on animal diseases; b) the organization of fight against animal disease; c) competences, costs and financing and waste disposal of animal by-products. The text consists of 19 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Fight against animal disease (2); Waste disposal of animal-by products (3); Further provisions (4); Transitional and final provisions (5).
