Abstract For the purposes of this Act, hunting is defined as the protection of wild animals and management of wildlife resources in accordance with ecological principles and principles of rational agricultural, forest and fishing management. The aims pursued are: protection, preservation of species and management of wild animals population; protection of the environment to improve living conditions of animals; fulfillment of public needs concerning hunting, tradition, ethics and hunting culture.
