Abstract The purpose of this Regulation of the Minister of Environment is to ensure welfare of greyhounds and their hybrids by establishing conditions and methods of their breeding and keeping. In particular, greyhounds and their hybrids should be ensured: (1) everyday movement appropriate to their age and physiological state; (2) possibility of shelter from cold, heat and precipitation; (3) feed appropriate to their weight, age and physiological state; (4) continuous access to water; (5) veterinary care.
