Abstract

The Act establishes a Hotels and Restaurants Authority that shall be responsible for the issuing of licences to hotels and restaurants and shall investigate and determine complaints regarding the operation of restaurants and hotels. The Act lays down rules for the granting of licences and implied conditions, in particular regarding food hygiene requirements where food is handled.
