Abstract

This Decree contains instructions for veterinary inspectors to carry out ante mortem and post mortem control of meat obtained from rabbit and to mark the meat in accordance with the findings of the inspection. Meat that is condemned by the veterinary inspector in accordance with certain criteria regarding the health of the animal or hygienic conditions, shall be discarded. The veterinary inspector shall report on the inspection to the National Food Authority according to a predefined scheme.
