Abstract This Decree-Law Is composed of five articles and one Annex. It implements Commission Directive 2005/5/EC on sampling methods and methods of analysis for the official control of the levels of ochratoxin A in certain foodstuffs. The Decree-Law provides general requirements with regards to animal foodstuffs containing certain chemical values. The Annex, divided in three parts, provides general conditions applicable to foodstuffs analysis methods. In particular, it regulates sample preparation, materials required for analysis purposes, analysis methods and results’ dissemination.
