Resumen This Regulation prescribes maximum concentrations of certain contaminants in food. The maximum concentrations of certain contaminants in food shall be applied to the edible part of the food, unless otherwise specified in the Regulations. Specific topics covered by these rules are related to the following: dried, diluted, processed and complex foods (article 3); prohibition of use, mixing and detox (article 4); special provisions for peanuts, seeds of others oilseeds, kernels, dried fruits, rice and maize (article 5); special provisions for lettuce (article 7); and special provisions for acrylamide (article 8).
