Abstract

The present Law implements the Meat Hygiene Act in its version of 8. Juli 1993 (BGBl. I p. 1189) and the Poultry Meat Hygiene Act of 17 July 1996 (BGBl. I p. 991). Article 1 establishes that operators of slaughterhouses and meat processing industries are due to allow on their premises the vocational training of veterinaries as well as of meat inspectors. The text consists of 6 articles as follows: Limitation of fundamental rights (1); Costs (2); Empowerment (3); Gender equalization (4); Transitional provisions (5); Entry into force (6).
