This text entered into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette (published on 21 September 2022).
Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on food hygiene and microbiological criteria for food, prescribes the frequency of sampling of carcasses, minced meat and meat preparations, as well as the conditions and methods of reducing the number of elementary sample units in facilities with a lower production capacity, and in relation to the requirements prescribed by Commission Regulation (EC) 2073/2005 of 15 November 2005. on microbiological criteria for food. The provisions of this text do not apply to minced meat that is ground by a food business entity as a service directly to the final consumer, nor to meat preparations that food business entity thermally processes before placing it on the market. The Annex is also part of this publication (technical sheets and sampling indications).
