The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 February 2005.
Abstract

The present Regulation enforces the Ordinance of 18 December 1996 implementing the Federal Foodstuff Act. In particular, article 1 establishes that the Canton Nidwalden shall set up a slaughter facility for emergency cases. The text - consisting of 8 articles – deals with the following aspects: emergency slaughtering, hygienic requirements, cooling facilities, supervisions and duty to notify, costs and entry into force.
