Abstract

The present Regulation lays down rules on officials control of primary producers of dairy products, as well as on the definition of milk and certain milk products, including their labelling. The Regulation prohibits the adulterating of milk obtained from a milking parlors, and defines dairy products as any type of food obtained exclusively from milk. The Regulation contains detailed rules on milk additives; milk processing; sampling obligations and inspections; milk adulteration; and others. The Regulation contains the following two annexes: I. Definitions of milk and certain dairy products; and II. Labelling of canned milk products and milk powder.
