Abstract

In this Notification, some particular kinds of sauces refer to chilly sauce, tomato sauce, papaya sauce, flour sauce or coloured flour sauce, and mixed sauces thereof. They are prescribed to have qualities or standards. Clause 4 provides for the quality requirements to be satisfied by such sauces. Remaining Clauses provide for the requirements and rules to be followed by some particular kinds of sauces’ producers or importers for sales, requirements for usage of food additives, usage of containers, labelling, etc.
