Abstract The aim of this Notification is to ensure that raw and UHT milk and milk used in for dairy products are produced with the right technique and sanitary procedures. It encloses cow, sheep, goat and buffalo milk as well as UHT milk and defines the required features of each type of milk and milk product. The Notification further sets forth the rules and procedures of the preparation, processing, packaging, conservation, storage, transportation and sales.
