Abstract

With a view to implementing the relevant Community provisions, the present Decree lays down amendments to Legislative Decree No. 194 of 17 March 1995, in matter of authorization, marketing, use and controls over phytosanitary products. Annex II to the above-mentioned Legislative Decree shall be amended as set out in Annex I to this Decree. On the other hand, Annex III to Legislative Decree No. 194 shall be amended in accordance with Annex II to the present Decree. The Annexes hereby attached contain detailed provisions relative to microorganisms and phytosanitary products, mainly referring to: identity of the microorganism or plant protection products; biological properties and further information of the microorganism or plant protection products; analytical methods; effects on human health; residues on or in treated products, food and feed; fate and behaviour in the environment; effects on non-target organisms; summary and evaluation of environmental impact.
