Abstract This Law regulates the phytosanitary measures under the International Plant Protection Convention approved on the Conference of the International Organization for Agriculture and overfeeding; the protection of plants and defines the correct use of plant products; provides for monitoring, diagnosis, prognosis and signaling in plant protection; also defining the integrated production of plants and plant products and control over the integrated production; phytosanitary controls on plants and plant products and additional protective measures against the introduction of pests; inspection and offences and penalties related provisions are also part of this text.
