Abstract The purpose of the present Law is to: a) protect indigenous animals and plants, as well as their living space and environment; b) restore any impaired or destroyed living space of animals and plants or to promote their restoration; c) to protect the landscape against impoverishment; d) to back basic research and efforts to protect nature and landscape.
