Abstract

The present Law implements the Federal Land Use Planning Law of 22 June 1979 and is the basis for measures concerning land use planning and building of the Canton and municipalities. The Law aims to: a) a purposeful, especially thrifty use of land; b) the promotion of a meaningful and orderly development of the settlement; c) the protection of cultural heritage, landscapes and natural resources from impairment. The text consists of 127 articles divided into 5 chapters as follows: General provisions (1); Planning law (2); Other space-efficient tools (3); Building regulations (4); Final and transitional provisions (5).
