The present Law enters into force on 1 January 1989.
Abstract

The present Act lays down provisions relating to navigation on inland waters, as well as the implementation of the Federal Act on inland navigation of 3 October 1975. To ply those waters, a ship not registered in the Canton of Zug shall need a special authorization, except for ships registered in the Canton of Schwyz and Lucerne. The text consists of 16 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: Purpose and sphere of application (1); Issue and withdrawal of cantonal authorizations (2); Nautical police regulations (3); Fees (4); Legal protection (5); Final provisions (6).
