Abstract These Regulations concern compositional and labelling requirements for infant formulae and follow-on formulae (both defined in reg. 3) intended for use by infants of four months and older. No person may place on the market any infant formula or follow-on formula, which does not comply with the requirements of these Regulations (reg. 4). Regulation 5 formulates general requirements for the manufacture of infant food.
