Abstract

In implementation of the provisions laid down in Directive 2003/14/EC, these Regulations amend particular provisions contained in the Infant Formulae and Follow-on Formulae Regulations, 2002. In particular, the pesticides mentioned in the ninth schedule attached to the principal Regulations shall not be used in agricultural products intended for the production of infant formulae and follow-on formulae. The schedule attached to these Regulations, establishing maximum residue levels of pesticides or metabolites of pesticides other than those specified in the ninth schedule, shall be added.
