Abstract

The scope of these Regulations is to harmonize the existing Cypriot legislation with a number of European Directives. The text (with three extensive Annexes) lays down health rules for the production and placing on the market of raw milk, heat-treated drinking milk, milk for the manufacture of milk-based products and milk-based products intended for human consumption. It also sets forth the procedures to be used for the analysis and test of milk and detailed provisions with respect to sampling, the equipment to be used, calculation and expression of results, etc.
