Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down regulations for the safe production of gelatine used for foodstuff. The text consists of 12 articles dealing with the following aspects: sphere of application, definition of terms, authorization of plants, registration of plants, safety measures, accompanying documents, marking of gelatine, importation of food gelatine and its ingredients, and penalties. One Annex is enclosed.
