Abstract

The Regulations establishes that application to fluoridate public water supply, under section 6 of the Fluoridation of Public Water Supplies Act 1957, by a water supply authority must be in the form required under the Fluoridation Code, and accompanied by the documents required by the form. Fluoridation equipment used by the water supply authority must be designed, in accordance with the Fluoridation Code, to ensure accurate fluoride dosing and fluoridation must be carried out by qualified operators. Some alterations require approval of Secretary.
