Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the protection of wild animals and plant species. In particular, article 1 establishes that some plants and animals are placed under special protection whilst others are placed under very strict protection. The text consists of 16 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: Protection, exceptions and prohibitions (1); Parts and products, duty to report (2); Keeping and breeding, duty to report (3); Marking (4); Penalties (5); Regional reservations (6). Seven Annexes are enclosed.
