The Regulations are amended by inserting the rule which prescribes that a person shall not use an establishment for the production, rewrapping, cutting or storage of fresh poultry meat or fresh meat as the case may be, unless he or she has in place a procedure that complies with Article 1 of Commission Decision 2001/471/EC of 8 June 2001 and conducts regular checks on the general hygiene conditions in the establishment in accordance with that Article.
