Abstract This Decree of the Ministry of Health, which is composed of four articles, establishes the permitted level of erucic acid as toxicological substance in certain foods. The level of erucic acid may not exceed 5% of the total fatty acids in oils, fats and their mixtures, which are intended for human consumption, and in food to which were added oils, fats or mixtures.
