Abstract

This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, made under section 13 of the Act concerning animal diseases, lays down the animal health requirements which shall apply to certain live animals, animal products and other items that cause a risk of spreading animal diseases. It shall apply to animals or goods that are supplied by other Member States of the European Union to Finland, from Finland to other Member States and from other Member States through Finland to another Member State or a country outside the European Union. It does not apply to reproduction material of specified animals including fish, crustaceans and molluscs.
