Abstract This Decree-Law regulates the use of food additives. It consists of 10 articles defining authorized food additives to be used for human consumption and establishing requirements to be met by such substances. It also specifies the composition and duties of the Committee responsible for carrying out controls for the implementation this Decree-Law.
