Abstract

Part B of Chapter IV of Section IV of Annex I to Regulation (EC) No. 854/2004 sets out specific requirements for the post-mortem inspection of domestic swine. The present Regulation lays down some amendments to those provisions in order to put them in line with the scientific opinion of the European Food Safety Authority regarding the risk of cross contamination with bacterial hazards in such post-mortem inspection.
