Abstract

This Regulation amends Annex III to Regulation (EC) No. 853/2004 on specific hygiene rules for the hygiene of foodstuffs. The amendments concern raw materials that have not undergone any preserving treatment other than chilling, freezing or quick-freezing, and in particular gelatine, collagen and highly refined products of animal origin intended for human consumption. Food business operators must ensure that gelatine complies with the residue limits set out in new table laid down in this Regulation.
