Abstract

These provisions amend Regulation (EC) No. 853/2004 by replacing the text in Section III, point 7 of Annex II with specific regard to as regards food chain information to be provided to food business operators operating slaughterhouses. According to these new provisions, food chain information may arrive less than 24 hours before the arrival of the animals of all species to which it relates at the slaughterhouse or accompany these animals to the slaughterhouse.
