Abstract These Regulations provide for the enforcement of article 7.1 of Council Regulation (EC) No. 820/97 and article 6.3 of Commission Regulation (EC) No. 2629/97 which relate to the notification of birth, movement and death of cattle to a central database. It is an offence to fail to notify in accordance with that legislation and in accordance with these Regulations (reg. 5).
