Entry into force notes
The Act enters into force on 1 January 2007, with the exception of article 40, which enters into force on the day of publication in the Journal of Laws.
Abstract

The Act sets out a monitoring system to control the quality of fuels intended for: vehicles, tractors and machines; energetic combustion installations; vessels for navigation in inland waters; farmers for their own use. The aim of the Act is to limit adverse effects of fuels on the environment and human health. The Act is composed of the following Sections: (1) General provisions; (2) Monitoring system to control the quality of fuels; (3) Penalties; (4) Amendments to provisions currently in force; (5) Transitional and final provisions.
