Invites Parties to provide comments on their experience in using the electronic system for reporting to the Secretariat by 31 December 2007; 3. Encourages Parties that have not used the electronic system for reporting to do so; 4. Requests the Secretariat: (a) To prepare a report pursuant to paragraph 2 (d) of Article 20 of the Convention by 30 July 2008 in time to be used in the effectiveness evaluation under Article 16 of the Convention; (b) To develop a users manual for the electronic system for reporting and distribute it widely in order to facilitate the process for reporting pursuant to Article 15; (c) To provide training, upon request and subject to the availability of funds, to enable Parties to use the electronic system for reporting effectively; (d) To make non-substantive modifications to the reporting forms in order to make the electronic system for reporting more user friendly, including by enhancing its flexibility; (e) To develop, resources permitting, an enhanced version of the electronic system for reporting that takes into account such modifications.
