Résumé

Section 1 concerns licensing of small gold mining operations as defined in section 21. Licenses are not transferable and may be revoked for reasons stated in section 7. The Minerals Commission shall for purposes of monitoring small-scale gold mining operations establish for each operation area a district Small-Scale Gold Mining Centre. Functions of such Centres are outlined in section 8. For every area designated by the Secretary responsible for land and natural resources a small-scale gold mining Committee shall be established. The Committee shall assist the Centre in monitoring and developing small-scale gold mining in the designated area. (21 sections)
