Résumé The Regulation sets rules with regard to harbour safety and has purpose in preventing security incidents which may damage ports, port facilities or ships. The Regulation shall ensure to strengthen portual areas in support of security measures. The Document implements international regulations such as the Recognized Security Organizations – RSO, and Port Security Officer – PSO. A vulnerability assess shall be applied for specific characteristics of the different parts of the port, adjacent areas that affect the safety of the harbor and pursuant to Regulation No. 538 (art. 9).
